The NDYA was founded in 1973, in partnership with the National Duckpin Proprietor's Association and the National Duckpin Bowling Congress. Since that time our program has seen many changes, but one thing remains the same 45 years later - our youth bowlers are the best, on and off the lanes.
The NDYA consists of youth bowlers, ages 21 and under, from approximately 27 centers in Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, and Virginia. We welcome all youth, regardless of ability and skill level; anyone who likes bowling and loves having fun. Everyone plays, everyone scores!
NDYA Coaches are volunteers who share a love for duckpin bowling and a passion for helping youth bowlers succeed. They teach the rules of the game, work with the youth to improve their skills, and most importantly serve as shining examples of character and integrity for our youth.
