2024 marks the 49th anniversary of the NDYA National Team Championships, where State Champions compete for National titles and the 4th Annual Open Tourn.
Youth bowlers compete for scholarships awarded in honor of those who contributed to the NDYA program in the past and those partnering with us now.
The Zarrella Award is presented to the national tournament bowler who bowls the most pins over his/her average.
The Bob Parrella Award goes to the national tournament bowler who bowls the Most Strikes and Spares combined in the three-game set.
The youth bowler who rolls the Most Strikes during the National Tournament receives the Mattie Schneider Award.
The youth bowler who rolls the Most Spares during the National Tournament receives the Myra Pyles Award.
Youth bowlers in each age division are recognized for bowling the highest game in tournament/league play for each month.
Youth bowlers compete for scholarships awarded in honor of
Bill Yingling, who contributed greatly to the youth duckpin program.
High average youth bowlers are recognized each season with Norm Fleury All-Americans, and Archie and Evelyn Larochelle awards.
Paramount Industries, Inc. sponsors the NDYA Win a Set of Bowling Balls Tournament during the fall/winter season.
Weekly league awards are based on pins over average. End-of-year and special awards are achievement specific.
