As a coach, you accept the responsibilities of a teacher. Not only are you to teach bowling and its skills, but character development, sportsmanship, team work, and pride in personal accomplishment.
Youth learn more from what we do than from what we say. It is imperative that you teach by example. In other words, while "on-duty" refrain from the things that you may do as an adult that we would discourage for children, i.e., smoking, cursing, etc.
All Coaches and State Directors accompanying teams to the NDYA National Tournament must be at least 25 years of age and pass a background check. PLEASE NOTE: THE PROCESS FOR BECOMING GREENLIGHTED THROUGH THE RVP IS BEING CHANGED. WE WILL MAKE YOU AWARE OF THE NEW PROCESS AS SOON AS WE HAVE IT FINALIZED.
